About Me

Hi! My name is Julie McIntosh (Brown), and I am an alumna of the Zeta Sigma chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. I pledged Kappa in 1992. I graduated UNT with a degree in Elementary Education and taught school in the Plano ISD before staying at home to raise a family.

Hey! There I am! I’m the big-haired blonde in the center of the middle row.

I live in a small town outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan and absolutely love everything about my life as a wife, mother, homemaker, volunteer, friend, horse owner, and collector of Kappa Kappa Gamma history. When I’m not spending time with the love of my life, my husband, Glen, or our two fantastic kids… I am probably at the barn with my horse, Hombre, or hanging out with friends. I love shopping, buying vintage jewelry and clothing, doing Red Effect workouts and adult ballet, cooking, and about a million other things.

With my wonderful husband at the Kentucky Derby in 2019.
